So here’s how it works in my house! When my son has “finished” with his mobile phone, I inherit it. At the moment he has an IPhone O 3GS and I inherited his old 8GB. It took a while to get sorted, but since I used my old Nokia handset for the past seven years or so, I was ready to be upgraded and I’ve never looked back. My son however is looking forward to the imminent release of the O 5GS.
Electronic components distributors are working over time for the Big Day, apparently sometime in autumn, 2011 when the next iPhone is released. Let’s look back over what we had and what we can soon expect. The 3 Gs had a 480-320 resolution, the 4 Gs has a high resolution Retina display with 326 ppi compared to a lowly 163 on the other. You get video calling on the 4 Gs and a camera that has a flash, 5 megapixels and backside illumination sensors. The 3 Gs camera has only 3 megapixels and little else.
When it comes to recording facilities the 4 Gs fares way better than the 3, thanks to its three-axis gyro, Apple A4 chip and dual-mic noise suppression. This is ideal for my son who records a lot of live music (as he’s a jazz pianist). The battery life of the 4 Gs is improved on the 3 by two hours of talk time as well – that’s vital.
As far as the IPhone 5 is concerned, electronic components distributors have been very busy of late! It’s hoped that the handset will offer a great multi-media experience with a slightly larger screen that’s a higher resolution than its predecessors. It might have above 32GB memory capacity, an enhanced YouTube player and more than more than 8 MP camera for stills and video. Whatever it has to offer, it would seem the world is ready to byte.
